The Raleigh Mayer Consulting presentation
and executive coaching methods focus on the dynamics of communication
and engagement, and the internalization of those principles. They are an
antidote and response to other, more superficial services. Over the past
10 years Raleigh and her colleagues have coached hundreds of executives
from major corporations, as well as numerous high-profile professionals in
other high-stakes arenas, including financial analysts, internet
executives, medical doctors, and competitive athletes. These leaders were
in industries as diverse as computer software, financial services,
community organizations, and not-for-profit advocacy groups.

A complex presentation must be carefully staged for maximum impact. We will work together to help you organize content and use strategic stagecraft for optimal effect. Preparing for Prime-Time™:Television Interview Skills Coaching Television coaching focuses on the ways that television predictably distorts performance. We identify ways to avoid the negative distortions, play into the positive distortions, and craft content to capitalize on the visual and verbal dynamics of television interviews. The program incorporates simulated interview practice to most closely resemble the formats or forums that the speaker expects to engage in. Coaching can be designed for general television readiness, or can be created specifically for scheduled interviews with news magazines such as 60 Minutes, Dateline, or 20/20. Why Can't a Woman Talk More Like a Man (and Vice Versa)™: Bridging the Gender Gap One key to best-practice communication management, both verbal and non-verbal, is to become more comfortable, open, and effective when working with the opposite sex. This practical seminar will examine both male and female communication styles, and assess how gender-specific characteristics can be identified, and either employed or avoided to best leverage careers. We'll look at gender tendencies in verbal and non-verbal language, content, delivery, and personal presentation, and evaluate participants' own stylesPreparation for Podcasts and Video Presentation The art of engagement through audio and visual platforms is a challenging one to master: How does one bring content to life without the benefit of a real-time audience, in a recording studio or remote location? This performance-focused coaching program develops both the technical skill sets and theatrical nuances that will allow executives at all levels and in all industries to be more confident, crisp, and compelling on camera or microphone, and includes attention to fine-tuning content for optimal delivery. Duration of delivery, which culminates in on-site support for recording, is dependent on client readiness and length of material, but typically entails two half-day sessions, the second being the recording phase. Return to ProgramsHow to Be Shameless and Fearless in Any Environment Female executives at all levels are challenged and often stymied by the complexities of personal, professional, and political dynamics. This highly participatory workshop focuses on the different dimensions of communication, image, and relationship management, and how to develop techniques, strategies, and coping skills to build confidence, compete with men (and each other), and get a better seat at a bigger table. First, we will identify the Elements of Impression, to assess the impact of appearance and non-verbal behaviors, a critical (and often ignored) issue for women. Participants will then explore the divergent Power Matrixes that men and women tend to operate from, and learn how to enhance, elevate, and exploit their own talents and contributions to be perceived as “players” in the business. We will also address the concept of having a Reputational Code to define a heightened sense of personal value and professional capital. The agenda also includes a tough-love look at all the elements—emotional, physical, and intellectual—that need to be understood and managed to navigate the corporate workplace successfully. Natural Networking™: An Interactive Seminar This hands-on, fully participatory workshop provides many practical tips to make one more comfortable, more memorable, and more effective in a variety of settings where the ability to make connections is the key to personal and professional success. The program includes role-play, a survey of social skills for the business environment, and the opportunity to create a powerful and persuasive personal "boilerplate" (elevator speech) for use in a variety of professional interactions and settings Return to Programs . .212-678-2041 rm@raleighmayer.com ©Raleigh Mayer 2008.
